Our Message

Women's Ministries

MWM is a ministry within Maurice Reformed Church which seeks to encourage women to grow spiritually, have fun, serve and support one another. This environment is created by creating different venues for women of all ages in the church and community. These events involve morning conferences with spiritual speakers, fun nights just for women, spiritual retreats, mother-daughter events, women's small group Bible Studies, aerobics, a book club and serving opportunities. This year there are 3 different Women's Bible Study groups meeting at various times and places during the week. All women of the church and community are invited and encouraged to attend any of the MWM sponsored events.

Leadership of MWM is voluntary and rotates annually. A leadership team consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, coordinators from each of the committees, and volunteer representatives for the women's Bible Studies. This MWM leadership team organizes and carries out the women's ministry ideas and supports and encourages each other in their part of ministry.

Life Groups - Home Based Ministry

One thing that makes our church as intimate as it is, is the Life Group Ministry. Many adults in our congregation are involved for the purpose of Bible study, fellowship, and service. All are welcome!

Mission Work Projects

Each year a number of mission projects are planned where we can use the gifts God has given us to glorify God and edify others. The Maurice Reformed Church participates in local, national and international work projects, extending from multi-week to day projects. Some of our past work projects include:

  • Niger, Africa
  • Texas
  • Guatemala
  • New Orleans, Louisiana

Senior Program

This is a program for the "senior" members of our congregation and community. This group meets monthly, April through November. The majority of gatherings will be held at the church. Watch the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter for more details of upcoming programs.
