Maurice 1st Reformed provides a Vacation Bible School for the children in the surrounding communities and for children who are members of the church. Our church uses this tool as an outreach to the community and a time of creative learning for the children of Maurice Reformed. It is usually held the first full week in June (depending on school dismissals.) It is held every morning at the church. A program is held at the close of the week on Thursday evening.
Sunday School is held every Sunday morning between the two services at 9:55 AM. There are classes for children ages 3 through 5th grade as well as classes for Jr. high through adults.
Children and Worship is a specific worship service for ages 3 through Kindergarten children. Each worship service is planned every 2nd and 4th Sunday and is made up of a gathering, a greeting, praising God through song, hearing God's word, responding to God's word and blessing.
Children and worship uses a number of volunteers in a variety of ways and time commitments. Each year we are in need of those telling the Bible story, leading the praise time, coordinating crafts and assisting with the response time as well as greeting the children as they come to worship.
